Everyone respects Diplo, everyone respects Switch, at least everyone who has heard of them. I'm not gonna make this into a big post as it's sunday and I'm not in too much of a mood for thinking, but is this new single from Major Lazer a move to appeal to a larger crowd? The vocoded vocals and commercial 'rave' synths akin to Tinchy Stryder are there, is this video an attempt to keep it edgy and remind us that the Lazer's are primarily influenced by dancehall? Because you really can't hear this in the music. Either way I have always respected Prydz for making chart topping singles along with underground techno, if this is what Diplo&Switch want to do then best of luck.
