Dubstep- 2A, Dirty Harry and not enough dj's!

Its been a busy week,

Dear Student Residents of2A Grosvenor Place, Jesmond.

The University has received a Police report regarding a noise disturbance which took place on 6 June 2009. The report states that an extremely noisy party was being held, which went on into the very early hours with over 300 guests. The Police received 3 complaints and the Council Night Noise Team were also called to attend.

One HUGE houseparty, 3 noise complaints and 7 individual police warnings later- its finally all about the music again,

AND

my first blog post..

Police warnings aside- the music at the party was an eye opener, some of the hottest tunes from all genres were dropped.....

From prog house to minimal to dubstep to breaks and electro house. It all went down and was enjoyed by all!

Here are a few of the hot tunes dropped by the dj's on the night- Marcus Rowland, Harry Schaffer, Not enough dj's (Yaz and Tadas) and Adam Farrier

X-Press 2 - Smoke Machine (James Talk Remix)

Stereo Type, Screwface, Ctrl Z - Balls To The Wall (Stereo:Typical Part 2 Mix)

Wolfgang Gartner - Bounce

George Lenton - Island In The Sun
