Plenty Of Music
Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:17AM So all is pretty hectic here at the moment, I'm just packing my things to go on a road trip round europe for a few weeks with some mates, stopping at a few festivals along the way! But don't worry there are more MUDLOVERS who will keep everything up-to-date and funky fresh on the blog.
So for MY last post in a while i've got a selection of tunes I have been sent/found.
First up is the latest mixtape from our very own, homegrown 'Dirtii' Harry, one of those awesome mixes that just makes you want to dance.
Dirtii Harry's Latest Symphony (download)
Tracklist:
Herve - Who Da Champ
Machines don't care - Beat Bang
Cirez D - The Tunnel
Trevor Loveys - Byrdy
Chuckie - Let the Bass Kick (Silvio Ecomo Remix)
Dwight Phister - Tasentiger (Rene Rogrigezz Remix)
Circuit Freq - ZonderZug (Calverton'z Drop the Bass Mix)
Wolfgang's Gartner - Wolgang's 5th Symphony
Pagano, Stewart Who? - Back to the Future (Danny Verde Remix)
Riktam, Bansi - Green Space
Oliver Lang - Pressure Drop

Next from abroad we have DEEBS, a 21-yr-old producer/DJ from Ontario, Canada. He been holding some pretty sweet parties by the sound of things and he recently played alongside the Golden Gloves (check out their tune 'Huh?' which was featured in Lovelist#12). He has sent me two of his tracks both of which I really like, they're really honest party tunes, anyone can have a listen and instantly want to party! I don't know what you guys all think but I'm really impressed with his production skills, both in making cool synth sounds, getting them to fit with the samples and not letting the song get boring or repititive. Check 'em out...
Tegan & Sarah - Walking With A Ghost (DEEBS Remix)
Golden Gloves - Pick Up The Slack (Deebs Remix)

Back to home lands and I have a video for you by Rescue Cat, their latest single is called '£10 Bag' and it hitting iTunes on 6th July, so you cheeky bunch can actually buy this one! Check out the video it's one of those that gets mesmerizing after a while and if you're anything like me, will make you feel a little nostalgic about living in the UK, bloody lovely!
Right guys so that's it from me for a bit. Please keep checking the blog, there will be plenty more stuff for you all to listen to etc. Before I go I'm sharing with you the tune that I have not stopped listening to for the last week. It was on last year's Global Underground Mixed 3 but I must have missed it coz I have only just come across it now and it's a tune tune tune tune! (please buy from beatport!)
